Amgen is committed to the relentless pursuit of breakthroughs for cancer patients and their families. It has a deep and diverse pipeline of cutting-edge therapeutic approaches that aim to improve outcomes. When the annual event that Amgen attends was cancelled due to the pandemic, it wanted to take an innovative approach to engage its audience of healthcare professionals and turned to Blend for help.
Brief
ESMO (European Society for Medical Oncology) is an annual conference that brings together the greatest minds and organisations who are working together to improve cancer patient care. Due to the global pandemic, the conference was moved to a virtual event. Amgen wanted a way to engage attendees of the virtual event in the great work it has been doing over the past 12 months.
Execution
The most impactful solution for Amgen was an interactive 360 experience where users could explore the different modalities they would be investigating as part of clinical trials. The existing assets were transformed into an engaging and interactive experience that Amgen was thrilled with.
Results
An experienced team of specialist creatives and producers at Raw Post worked to complete the project working to tight deadlines and legal and regulatory requirements. The completed work is an animated 360 video that allowed viewers to experience their oncology pipeline, exploring 10 of Amgen’s investigational anticancer modalities.
Using the 360 video format, Amgen was able to create standout content that would truly engage and inform its audience. The completed video lives on Facebook and YouTube and was promoted across Amgen’s social channels at the time of the event, view it below…
