Brief: To support the launch of Mike Skinner’s new mixtape DIFFICULT TIMES, the client (a global music label) worked with Blend Media to connect with an Augmented Reality (AR) creator and bring to life the key artwork from the album to drive fan engagement.

Execution: The client chose to work with experienced creator Tom Martin Davies to recreate the signature chain and lighter from the album cover as an AR filter on Instagram. Find the filter on Mike Skinner's profile.
Result: Mike Skinner shared an Instagram story of him using the filter to his 232k followers driving huge fan engagement. Many of Mike’s celebrity followers also joined in sharing Instagram stories of them using the filter, including Holly Willoughby (6.9m followers).
