Apply NowSoon the Blend Media and Facebook 360 teams will be heading over to Austin, Texas for the much anticipated South by Southwest (SXSW) event. We shall also be organising another creator workshop and meetup for you to get involved with.
From the 11-14th March we will have a stand with Facebook 360 at the SXSW expo. Come and meet the Blend Media and Facebook teams, chat to us about content opportunities, check out some experiences in the Facebook App and learn about our new interactive 360 content editor, 360 Stories. At 4pm-6.30pm on Tuesday 13th March we will be co-hosting a workshop at the Facebook offices. Here, you can learn about: Facebook 360's offering for creators, best practices for producing and monetising content, 360 Stories and the creator referral programme, Quill, spatial audio and Facebook spaces. The meetup will follow at 6.30pm at Terrace 59 at 412 Congress Ave. Come and meet with fellow creators, as well as the Facebook and Blend teams over drinks and canapés.

Founded in 1987 in Austin, Texas, SXSW is one of the largest creative conglomerates in the world. It features music and film festivals, conferences on a variety of subjects and exhibitions.
We will be at stand 1021 at Exhibit Halls 2,3 & 4 in the Austin Convention Center. Come and say hello! It's a great chance to learn about the benefits of the Facebook partnership, how to monetise content, and to learn more about our new platform, 360 Stories, which enables users to easily create interactive 360 experiences that can be published across websites, ad networks and across social media.
We will also be demoing some of our creator's amazing 360 video content in our Samsung Gear VR headsets.
All members of Blend Media's creator network receive invitations to free and exclusive meetups and workshops, co-hosted with our Facebook 360 partners. So far we have hosted meetups and workshops in Vienna, London, Liverpool, Amsterdam, Sydney, Melbourne and New York.
We shall be co-hosting a workshop prior to the meetup at 4pm-6.30pm on Tuesday 13th March at the Facebook offices.

The meetups are an opportunity for like-minded 360 video creators to collaborate and exchange ideas and information. These events are also great opportunities for creators to learn about the Blend Media and Facebook partnership and opportunities to work directly with the Facebook 360 team.
Our Austin creator meetup will be held on Tuesday 13th March, between 6.30pm-9pm on the stylish Terrace 59 rooftop of Speakeasy.
