Content Licence Use and Terms
This doc explains how the different licence usage terms available when purchasing 360 video and image content online from Blend Media. All the content in our library is classified into three licence types: Rights Managed, Standard Royalty Free and Premium Royalty Free.
Rights Managed (RM) content is our premium collection of the highest quality content. Licences for this content are restricted to specific uses, regions and time periods.
Premium RF are clips that are good quality but just don’t quite make the grade when it comes to selecting for the RM collection. This might be because there are rigs still in shot or the footage could be a little more stable – things that could b erectified in post production but they might need a little extra work all the same.
Standard RF are clips that have been in our collection a long time and perhaps shot with early cameras, have rigs, tripods, nadirs or logos in shot.
All Royalty Free (RF) content is available for purchase automatically online. The licence granted for RF content is for worldwide usage and is a perpetual licence. Some RF content can be used commercially and others editorial only.

We’ve made a subset of our RM content available for licensing immediately online by selecting a set of common uses, regions and time-periods.
