Here’s a bit more about Circuit Stream and the course...

For the last five years, Circuit Stream has been on a mission to teach people the skills of the future by empowering them with the tools, resources, and knowledge to build XR applications.

More specifically, over the last year demand for talent in XR developers and designers has surged. In 2020, there has been a 1400% increase in AR/VR job growth, and a 601% demand growth for Unity.

To keep pace with this growth, Circuit Stream is announcing a brand new course built for designers: Interaction Design & Prototyping for XR.

Skills covered in this course

  • The processes of designing experience for AR/VR and how it differs from designing for web or mobile applications
  • The best practices and patterns of design applied to XR
  • The usability considerations when designing for immersive technologies
  • The processes, techniques and tools to design and create XR prototypes

How it is structured

  • Like Circuit Stream's flagship XR Development with Unity course, this course will run over 10 weeks and will include:
  • Weekly 1:1 mentorship support directly from instructors
  • 2 projects built around learning outcomes in addition to a portfolio project built during your 1:1s
  • Lifetime access to the community of more than 1000 developers and designers in the industry

Made with Unity

Working in partnership with Unity Technologies, this course is a pathway into the Unity Associate certificate and combines essential skills to design immersive experiences in Unity with credentials validated by the industry.

Who should take this course

This course is equally applicable to product designers as it is to developers, product managers, or generalists looking to apply best user experience and design practices when crafting immersive reality experiences.
